We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

PRIMARY ZARISKI TOPOLOGY ON THE PRIMARY SPECTRUM OF A MODULE [PDF]
Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and let $M$ be an $R$-module. We define the primary spectrum of $M$, denoted by $\mathcal{PS}(M)$, to be the set of all primary submodules $Q$ of $M$ such that $(\operatorname{rad}Q:M)=\sqrt{(Q:M ...

A New Approach to Spread-spectrum OFDM
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems are reviewed and the Shannon bound is dis- cussed as a criterion of efficient spectrum use and a design criterion. The problem of efficient sharing of spectrum by wireless communication systems is

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

On some aspects of the generalized Petersen graph
Let $p \ge 3$ be a positive integer and let $k \in {1, 2, ..., p-1} \ \lfloor p/2 \rfloor$. The generalized Petersen graph GP(p,k) has its vertex and edge set as $V(GP(p, k)) = \{u_i : i \in Zp\} \cup \{u_i^\prime : i \in Z_p\}$ and $E(GP(p, k)) = \{u_i ...

Methyl 5′-Chloro-8-formyl-5-hydroxy-1′,3′,3′-trimethyl-spiro-[chromene-2,2′-indoline]-6-carboxylate
Spiropyrans modified with reactive polyfunctional substituents are of great interest as building blocks for the creation of various smart systems with controllable properties for materials science and biomedicine.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Congruence Extensions in Congruence–Modular Varieties
We investigate from an algebraic and topological point of view the minimal prime spectrum of a universal algebra, considering the prime congruences with respect to the term condition commutator.
