Loopholes in $Z^\prime$ searches at the LHC: exploring supersymmetric and leptophobic scenarios [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Searching for heavy vector bosons $Z^\prime$, predicted in models inspired by Grand Unification Theories, is among the challenging objectives of the LHC. The ATLAS and CMS collaborations have looked for $Z^\prime$ bosons assuming that they can decay only

Zariski topology on the spectrum of fuzzy classical primary submodules

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2022
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M a unitary R-module. The fuzzy classical primary spectrum F cp.spec(M) is the collection of all fuzzy classical primary submodules A of M, the recent generalization of fuzzy primary ideals and fuzzy ...

On a $Z^{\prime}$ signature at next high energy electron-positron colliders

open access: yes, 2005
The associated production of a $Z^{\prime}$ and a final hard photon in high energy electron-positron colliders is studied. It is shown that the hard photon spectrum contains useful information on the $Z^{\prime}$ properties. This remark suggests that, if

Gapless edge states localized to odd/even layers of AA′-stacked honeycomb multilayers with staggered AB-sublattice potentials

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
In honeycomb multilayers with staggered AB-sublattice potentials, we predict gapless edge states localized to either of the odd and the even layers for the AA $$^{\prime }$$ ′ stacking order in which the sublattice-pseudospin polarizations of adjacent ...

The Zariski topology on the graded primary spectrum of a graded module over a graded commutative ring

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2022
Let R be a G-graded ring and M be a G-graded R-module. We define the graded primary spectrum of M, denoted by PSG(M), to be the set of all graded primary submodules Q of M such that (GrM(Q) :RM) = Gr((Q:RM)). In this paper, we define a topology on PSG(M)

The prime spectrum of an 𝐿-algebra

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society
We prove that the lattice of ideals of an arbitrary L L -algebra is distributive. As a consequence, a spectral theory applies with no restriction. We also study the spectrum (i.e. the set of prime ideals) of L L -algebras and characterize prime ideals in topological terms.

Zariski topology on the spectrum of graded classical prime submodules

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2013
Let $R$ be a $G$-graded commutative ring with identity and let $M$ be a graded $R$-module. A proper graded submodule $N$ of $M$ is called graded classical prime if for every $a, b\in h(R)$, $m\in h(M)$, whenever $abm\in N$, then either $am\in N$ or $bm ...

Channel estimation based on the PSS-MUSIC for millimeter-wave MIMO systems equipped with co-prime arrays

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2020
The millimeter-wave channel estimation problem can be solved by estimating the path directions and the path gains. The previous schemes are nearly all based on the uniform linear arrays (ULAs).

Power spectrum of the fluctuation of Chebyshev's prime counting function

open access: yes, 2005
The one-sided power spectrum of the fluctuation of Chebyshev's weighted prime counting function is numerically estimated based on samples of the fluctuating function of different sizes.

Facial emotion recognition in children with autism spectrum disorder: Are emotional primes effective?

open access: yesKlinik Psikiyatri Dergisi
INTRODUCTION: This study investigated the facial emotion recognition problems in children with autism spectrum disorder and how different emotional primes (visual and vocal primes) affected this deficiency.
