ABSTRACT This study presents the first GC‐MS–based analyses of wide horizontal rim vessels with well‐defined funerary contexts, from Middle Bronze Age Portugal (Quinta do Amorim 2 and Pego). Organic residues from two vessels revealed ruminant fats and plant oils, alongside molecular markers of heat exposure.

Probability hypothesis density filter using determinantal point processes for multi object tracking
Multi Object Tracking (MOT) has many applications such as video surveillance and event recognition among others. In this paper, we present a novel multi object tracking method using the Probability Density Hypothesis (PHD) filter and Determinantal Point ...

Abstract Background and Purpose Overactivation of the alternative pathway (AP) underlies several diseases. Iptacopan is an oral, first‐in‐class, highly potent specific inhibitor of factor B, a key AP protease. Experimental Approach The analysis included data from two phase 1 randomised, volunteer‐blinded, placebo‐controlled studies: Study 1, a single ...

Predicting SARS‐CoV‐2 Infection With Graph Attention Capsule Networks
ABSTRACT Recent studies in machine learning have demonstrated the effectiveness of applying graph neural networks (GNNs) to single‐cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‐seq) data to predict COVID‐19 disease states. In this study, we propose an explainable graph attention capsule network (GACapNet), which extracts and fuses Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome ...

Fairness at Risk: Where Bias Emerges in Machine Learning
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence and machine learning (ML) now shape decisions in healthcare, finance and security, but they can reproduce historical prejudice and inequality. Bias in training data and in model implementation can amplify harm, especially for racial and gender minorities.

Gaussian Mixture Probability Hypothesis Density Filter for Heterogeneous Multi-Sensor Registration
Spatial registration is a prerequisite for data fusion. Existing methods primarily focus on similar sensor scenarios and rely on accurate data association assumptions. To address the heterogeneous sensor registration in complex data association scenarios,

ABSTRACT Drawing on Uses and Gratifications Theory, this study investigates the link between social media self‐disclosure and self‐presentation and perceived interpersonal benefits. Whereas self‐disclosure involves communicating personal facts, self‐presentation describes selectively using self‐enhancing information to influence others' impressions. We

Multiple Moving Object Tracking Using the Probability Hypothesis Density Filter
sažetakPraćenje više gibajućih objekata kompleksan je problem gdje se osim izazova praćenja pojedinačnoga objekta javljaju i problemi poput nastajanja i nestajanja objekata te nesi-gurnosti pridjeljivanja mjerenja objektima.
