Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Precautionary Logic and Ignorance Interval Transfer Mediated Inference

open access: yesScientific Annals of Computer Science
A relatively formal framework for the description of application of the precautionary principle is described, which we consider to provide a basic setup for precautionary logic, that is reasoning patterns making use of said precautionary principle ...

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

Mitigation of Decoherence-Induced Quantum-Bit Errors and Quantum-Gate Errors Using Steane’s Code

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Quantum processors require Quantum Error Correction Codes (QECC's) for improving the fidelity of quantum logic gates. Fault tolerant QECC's are capable of providing error rate improvements in quantum processors as long as the components are operating ...

Basic elements and problems of probability theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
After a brief review of ontic and epistemic descriptions, and of subjective, logical and statistical interpretations of probability, we summarize the traditional axiomatization of calculus of probability in terms of Boolean algebras and its set ...

DRIVE‐SAFE: Data‐Driven Robustness and Informed Validation for Evolving Specifications via Formal Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
DRIVE‐SAFE evaluates learning‐based, black‐box autonomous driving policies against evolving temporal safety requirements using Signal Temporal Logic robustness metrics. It aggregates distributional robustness measures with domain‐informed weights to guide iterative retraining.
