Instructional design for heuristic-based problem solving
ECTJ, 1988Although there are many general instructional design models, few of them have been empirically tested and most lack precise design prescriptions at critical points. This article reports on the development and testing of a set of procedures to guide the design and development of instruction to teach strategies for solving a particular class of problems.

Collaborative Problem-Solving Process in a Web-Based Anchored Instruction
2016 IEEE 16th International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT), 2016On-line videos are widely used on e-learning. However, the learning activities of on-line video still need to be designed and evaluated especially. Wang (2010) proposed a web-based anchored instruction that were a new online learning activity based on anchored instruction and composed of on-line video learning and collaborative problem-solving learning.
