Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Abstract With ever-increasing prices for petroleum-derived liquid fuels, especially gasoline, it is appropriate to consider alternatives such as fuel gases. The use of solid fuel gas producers on individual vehicles began about 1921 and was tested and used in Western Europe up to the end of World War II.

Kajian Eksperimental Gas Cleaner Yang Dimodifikasi Untuk Mengekstrak Tar Dalam Producer Gas [PDF]
Producer gas from biomass gasification consists of tar from pyrolysis process which is notdegradation thermal well before out from the reactor. In fact tar is a serious problem that must beconsidered in the process of gasification, especially for an ...

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Intercompartmental communication in senescence
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.

Net energy analysis of small-scale producer gas production from Jatropha seed
Net energy analysis (NEA) of biodiesel production from Jatropha energy crop has been extensively studied. The commercialization of the Jatropha biodiesel, however, is not available yet due to high energy input for seed pressing and oil processing, which ...
