On the progenitor of the Crab Pulsar
ABSTRACT We investigate the progenitor of the Crab supernova by examining the remnant’s surrounding stellar population. The Crab is interesting because of the apparently low energy and mass of the supernova remnant. We also know it was not a binary at death and that the explosion formed a neutron star.

Developmental programs of lung epithelial progenitors: a balanced progenitor model
The daunting task of lung epithelium development is to transform a cluster of foregut progenitors into a three‐dimensional (3D) tubular network with distinct cell types distributed at their appropriate locations. A complete understanding of lung development needs to address not only how, but also where, different cell types form.

In this review, the current state of light‐assisted 3D printing as it pertains to engineering musculoskeletal tissues including bone, cartilage, skeletal muscle, tendon, and ligaments is summarized. Common printing techniques, photoreactive materials, and study design choices are compiled and reviewed.

Circulating Progenitor and Apoptotic Progenitor Cells in Patients With Aortic Regurgitation
Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) have a role in the repair of endothelial surfaces after injury. Reduced numbers of EPCs are related to endothelial dysfunction and adverse clinical events, suggesting that endothelial injury in the absence of sufficient repair by circulating EPCs promotes the progression of vascular disease or valvular disorder.

Co‐assembly of rationally designed glycosaminoglycan‐binding peptides with sulfated glycosaminoglycans yields supramolecular hydrogels with tunable mechanics and matrix‐mediated cytokine retention. The glycosaminoglycans thereby act as cofactors, driving a coil‐to‐β‐sheet transition that triggers gelation.

This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.
