An Explainable Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Model Integrating Histopathological Microenvironment and EHR Phenotypes for Germline Genetic Testing in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an explainable multimodal AI model, MAIGGT (Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Germline Genetic Testing), that combines whole‐slide histopathology with clinical data for accurate germline BRCA1/2 mutation prescreening. By integrating digital pathology and EHR phenotypes, MAIGCT enables cost‐effective, scalable hereditary breast ...

Transcriptional Activation of Elephant Shark Mineralocorticoid Receptor by Corticosteroids, Progesterone and Spironolactone [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
We report the analysis of activation by corticosteroids and progesterone of full-length mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) from elephant shark, a cartilaginous fish belonging to the oldest group of jawed vertebrates. Based on their measured activities, aldosterone, cortisol, 11-deoxycorticosterone, corticosterone, 11-deoxcortisol, progesterone and 19 ...

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) effects on subchorionic hematoma. Preliminary clinical results [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
OBJECTIVE: The clinic use of alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is linked to its capability to exert antioxidant effects and, more interestingly, to counteract the pathologic changes of complex networks of cytokines, chemokines and growth factors, restoring their ...

Pyroptosis‐Inducing Platinum(IV) Prodrugs via GSDME Pathway for Chemoimmunotherapy and Metastasis Inhibition in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Three PtIV prodrugs MRP, DRP, and HRP are designed to induce pyroptosis in low GSDME‐expressing tumor cells via the Caspase‐3/GSDME pathway. By relaxing chromatin and reactivating GSDME, HRP can effectively induce pyroptosis, enhance pro‐inflammatory cytokine production, and exhibit potent antitumor effects.
