Effect of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1) on the expression of NFκB and cFLIP in Bovine Granulosa Cells [PDF]
Infertility, often attributed to follicular atresia, is a growing problem in the agricultural industry. Programmed cell death, also known as apoptosis, is a contributing factor of follicular atresia.

Identification of an expanded binding surface on the FADD death domain responsible for interaction with CD95/Fas [PDF]
The initiation of programmed cell death at CD95 (Fas, Apo-1) is achieved by forming a death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) at the cytoplasmic membrane surface.

Soluble programmed death-1 (sPD-1) and programmed death ligand 1 (sPD-L1) as potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of glioma patients [PDF]
Background: This study aimed at investigating the feasibility of testing for soluble programmed death-1 (sPD-1) and soluble programmed death ligand 1 (sPD-L1) in serum samples of glioma patients and to evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic value of ...

Nivolumab as Programmed Death-1 (PD-1) Inhibitor for Targeted Immunotherapy in Tumor
Targeted immunotherapy has become the most promising approach for tumor patients. Programmed death-1 (PD-1), an inhibitory receptor expressed on activated T cells, can reverse immune suppression and release T cell activation.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate programmed death-1 (PD-1) and programmed death-1 ligand-1 (PD-L1) expression in gastric carcinoma and to assess their effect on survival rate. A total of 170 surgically resected specimens were obtained from patients diagnosed with gastric carcinoma at St.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
