This paper discusses the advantages of progress testing. A utopia is described where medical schools would work together to develop and administer progress testing. This would lead to a significant reduction of cost, an increase in the quality of measurement and phenomenal feedback to learner and school. Progress testing would also provide more freedom

The use of progress testing [PDF]
Progress testing is gaining ground rapidly after having been used almost exclusively in Maastricht and Kansas City. This increased popularity is understandable considering the intuitive appeal longitudinal testing has as a way to predict future competence and performance.

A test of first order scaling in Nf =2 QCD: a progress report
We present the status of our analysis on the order of the finite temperature transition in QCD with two flavors of degenerate fermions. Our new simulations on large lattices support the hypothesis of the first order nature of the transition, showing a ...

Recent Progress of RF Cavity Study at Mucool Test Area
In order to develop an RF cavity that is applicable for a muon beam cooling channel, a new facility, called Mucool Test Area (MTA) has been built at Fermilab. MTA is a unique facility whose purpose is to test RF cavities in various conditions.

Construction of experimental HMA test sections in order to monitor the compaction process [PDF]
For getting better understanding about the process of HMA compaction, a test section was constructed while the governing process parameters, like; compaction progress, temperature of the material at which activities were employed, equipment properties ...

Non-perturbative renormalization of the static quark theory in a large volume [PDF]
We report on progress to renormalize non-pertubatively the static heavy quark theory on the lattice. In particular, we present first results for position-space renormalization scheme for heavy-light bilinears.
