Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

The Similarity Measures for Linguistic q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Group Decision Making Using Projection Method

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (Lq-ROFSs) can fully represent linguistic evaluation information by adjusting the parameter $q$ to describe the range of uncertain information.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Second-order fully discretized projection method for incompressible Navier-Stokes equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
A second-order fully discretized projection method for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is proposed. It is an explicit method for updating the pressure field. No extra conditions of immediate velocity fields are needed.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

A Convex Variational Interactive Model with Projection Method for Digital Images Partitioning

open access: yesJournal of ICT
Digital image partitioning separates the foreground of an image from the background for subsequent analysis. In literature, the variational global model is frequently employed for digital images partitioning; however, it has been shown to underperform ...

Projection solutions of Frobenius-Perron operator equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1993
We construct in this paper the first order and second order piecewise polynomial finite approximation schemes for the computation of invariant measures of a class of nonsingular measurable transformations on the unit interval of the real axis.

On the O ( 1 / t ) $O(1/t)$ convergence rate of the alternating direction method with LQP regularization for solving structured variational inequality problems

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper, we propose a parallel descent LQP alternating direction method for solving structured variational inequality with three separable operators. The O ( 1 / t ) $O(1/t)$ convergence rate for this method is studied.
