Class Project of Multitude

open access: yesThe Journal of Political Theory, Political Philosophy and Sociology of Politics Politeia, 2020
The concept “multitude”, popular in political philosophy, largely owes its entrance into the modern political vocabulary to the efforts of Antonio Negri, the Italian philosopher. His research from the 1980s and 1990s gave rise to a synthetic philosophical theory that views multitude as a key element in the political struggle of the left, thereby giving

A class of projective planes of cubic order [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1969
systems of such planes. Throughout the paper F will be a field with characteristic not equal to 2 or 3, x3 -axX- will be a cubic irreducible over F, and V will be the three dimensional vector space over F consisting of triples of the form (a, b, c), a, b, cECF.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

On Presented Dimensions of Modules and Rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2010
We define the presented dimensions for modules and rings to measure how far away a module is from having an infinite finite presentation and develop ways to compute the projective dimension of a module with a finite presented dimension and the right ...

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Projective classes as images of accessible functors

open access: yesJournal of Logic and Computation, 2022
AbstractWe are dealing with projective classes (in short $\textrm {PC}$) over first-order vocabularies with no restrictions on the (possibly infinite) arities of relation or operation symbols. We verify that $\textrm {PC}(\mathbin {\mathscr {L}}_{\infty \lambda })=\textrm {RPC}(\mathbin {\mathscr {L}}_{\infty \lambda })$ for any infinite cardinal ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Locally adequate semigroup algebras

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
We build up a multiplicative basis for a locally adequate concordant semigroup algebra by constructing Rukolaĭne idempotents. This allows us to decompose the locally adequate concordant semigroup algebra into a direct product of primitive abundant 0-J*$0{
