SUMMARYRhabdomyolysis represents an acute skeletal muscle injury and may be accompanied by acute renal failure due to myoglobinuria. This disorder has many potential causes. We describe the case of a 75‐year‐old man who developed rhabdomyolysis after prolonged exposure to cold but without associated hypothermia.
