ricePSP: a database of rice phase separation-associated proteins
Multivalent interactions between proteins with intrinsically disordered regions or prion-like domains can drive liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) and form membraneless condensates essential for diverse cellular functions.

Proof-of-concept for an automatable mortality prediction scoring in hospitalised older adults
IntroductionIt is challenging to prognosticate hospitalised older adults. Delayed recognition of end-of-life leads to failure in delivering appropriate palliative care and increases healthcare utilisation. Most mortality prediction tools specific for older adults require additional manual input, resulting in poor uptake.

In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

SAGE Score in Normotensive and Pre-Hypertensive Patients: A Proof of Concept.
The SAGE score was developed to detect individuals at risk for increased pulse wave velocity (PWV). So far, studies have been focused on hypertensive patients. To assess the ability of the score to detect non-hypertensive and pre-hypertensive patients at risk for increased PWV.Retrospective cross-sectional study of analysis of central blood pressure ...

Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

Through Diamond Robust Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy
Thin film diamond growth offers a unique opportunity for Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS); the encapsulation of plasmonic nanostructures within a transparent, chemically stable, and physically robust coating. The diamond acts as both a window and protective layer, enabling illumination of the plasmonic nanostructures through the diamond ...

Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.
