Local-global efficiency properties for multiobjective max-min programming
The purpose of this paper is to give sufficient conditions of generalized concavity and convexity type for a local (weakly) max-min efficient solution to be a global (weakly) max-min efficient solution for an vector maxmin programming problem ...

Proper efficiency and cone efficiency
In this report, two general concepts for proper efficiency in vector optimization are studied. Properly efficient elements can be defined as minimizers of functionals with certain monotonicity properties or as weakly efficient elements with respect to sets that contain the domination set.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Semiparametric proper efficiency principles and duality models for constrained multiobjective fractional optimal control problems containing arbitrary norms [PDF]
Semiparametric necessary and sufficient proper efficiency conditions are established for a class of constrained multiobjective fractional optimal control problems with linear dynamics, containing arbitrary norms.

Drosophila park mutants serve as a model for Parkinson's disease. We used this strain to investigate the connection between oxidative stress and the circadian clock mechanism. We showed that increased oxidative stress affects the physiology of pacemaker cells, disrupting their daily structural plasticity. Lack of rhythmic signaling from pacemaker cells

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.
