Edge mappings of graphs: Turán type parameters [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this paper, we address problems related to parameters concerning edge mappings of graphs. The quantity $h(n,G)$ is defined to be the maximum number of edges in an $n$-vertex graph $H$ such that there exists a mapping $f: E(H)\rightarrow E(H)$ with $f(e)\neq e$ for all $e\in E$ and further in all copies $G'$ of $G$ in $H$ there exists $e\in E(G ...

Lipid and Corticosteroid Biomarkers Under the Influence of Bisphosphonates

open access: yesDrug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.
The detection of bisphosphonates is important due to the potential integrity and welfare issues associated with use of these substances. Targeted detection of a nitrogenous and non‐nitrogenous bisphosphonate was detected for 8 h and 28 days post‐administration, respectively.

Immune cell dynamics in heart failure: implicated mechanisms and therapeutic targets

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract The relationship between heart failure (HF) and immune activation has garnered significant interest. Studies highlight the critical role of inflammation in HF, affecting cardiac structure and function. Despite promising anti‐inflammatory therapies, clinical trials have faced challenges, indicating an incomplete understanding of immune ...

The effects of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals on ovarian‐ and ovulation‐related fertility outcomes

open access: yesMolecular Reproduction and Development, Volume 89, Issue 12, Page 608-631, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Exposure to endocrine‐disrupting chemicals (EDCs) is unavoidable, which represents a public health concern given the ability of EDCs to target the ovary. However, there is a large gap in the knowledge about the impact of EDCs on ovarian function, including the process of ovulation.

Total Synthesis of Ectocarpin A

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Accepted Article.
A total enantioselective synthesis of Ectocarpin A, an oxylipin identified through the first hydroperoxide bicyclase activity of CYP5164A3 in brown algae, has been successfully completed in 12 steps starting from tetrahydro‐1H‐cyclopentafuranone.
