Large-scale functional analysis using peptide or protein arrays
Nature Biotechnology, 2000The array format for analyzing peptide and protein function offers an attractive experimental alternative to traditional library screens. Powerful new approaches have recently been described, ranging from synthetic peptide arrays to whole proteins expressed in living cells.

The Use of Electron Tomography for Structural Analysis of Disordered Protein Arrays
Journal of Structural Biology, 1997A method based on Fourier transforms is described for obtaining a 3-D reconstruction from a paracrystalline object with static disorder. The method is derived from the standard methods used in 3-D reconstruction of 2-D crystals except that all of the Fourier coefficients are used and not just the sampled data from the periodic lattice.

Network-based analysis of reverse phase protein array data
2016 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM), 2016In this paper, we introduce a computational method for constructing networks based on reverse phase protein array (RPPA) data to identify complex patterns in protein signaling. The method is applied to phosphoproteomic profiles of basal expression and activation/phosphorylation of 76 key signaling proteins in three breast cancer cell lines (MCF7, LCC1,

Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2006
INTRODUCTIONThe most difficult aspect of using an array approach for a high-throughput study is maintaining the array’s viability while avoiding contamination of the plates. This protocol describes three different storage methods for the array. Frozen stocks are the most permanent method and are an absolute requirement for maintaining a record of the ...

Protein Array Based Interactome Analysis of Amyloid-β Indicates an Inhibition of Protein Translation
Journal of Proteome Research, 2011Oligomeric amyloid-β is currently of interest in amyloid-β mediated toxicity and the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Mapping the amyloid-β interaction partners could help to discover novel pathways in disease pathogenesis. To discover the amyloid-β interaction partners, we applied a protein array with more than 8100 unique recombinantly expressed ...

Analysis of Autoantibody Profiles in Osteoarthritis Using Comprehensive Protein Array Concepts
Journal of Proteome Research, 2014Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common rheumatic disease and one of the most disabling pathologies worldwide. To date, the diagnostic methods of OA are very limited, and there are no available medications capable of halting its characteristic cartilage degeneration.

Analysis of Protein Interactions with Immobilized Peptide Arrays Synthesized on Membrane Supports
Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2006INTRODUCTIONThe following protocol describes the synthesis of short linear peptides, or peptide pools, on modified cellulose membranes, and the detection of their protein-binding partners. Peptides are synthesized from their carboxyl termini using Fmoc-amino acid derivatives.

Protein analysis by isoelectric focusing in a capillary array with an absorption imaging detector
Journal of Chromatography B: Biomedical Sciences and Applications, 1995Isoelectric focusing (IEF) was successfully performed in capillary arrays with up to four capillaries. Separated proteins in the capillary array were detected by an UV absorption imaging detector. The whole analysis time for all samples in the capillary array was only 3 min due to the real-time imaging detector.
