Prognostic Value of HALP Score in Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis: A Long‐Term Follow‐up Study

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 4, April 2026.
In 169 patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis, a low HALP score was associated with increased long‐term MACCE risk. The HALP score showed modest predictive value (AUC 0.644) but was not an independent predictor. It may serve as a simple complementary tool for risk stratification alongside established clinical parameters.
