This study investigates the antifungal efficacy of ultrashort pulsed laser‐induced periodic surface structures (USP‐DLIP) on copper, brass, and steel surfaces. Using Aspergillus niger as a model, the research highlights a 99% reduction in spore viability on 9 µm structured copper surfaces due to enhanced copper ion release. Scanning electron microscopy

This study provides proof‐of‐concept evidence showing that through direct killing, antigen presentation, and competitively binding to BTN3A1, Vγ9Vδ2 T cells amplified from cervical cancer (CC) patients can synergize with αβ T cells to exert anti‐CC function both in vitro and in vivo.

This study discovers that SIRT1, a hub gene involved in glucolipid metabolic conversion in colorectal carcinoma (CRC), stimulates CX3CL1 secretion in CRC cells by activating FOXO1. The CX3CL1‐CX3CR1 signaling promotes the differentiation of TCF7+ regulatory T cells (Tregs) into an enhanced immunosuppressive TNFRSF9+ Treg phenotype.

Single-Cell Proteomics Using Mass Spectrometry [PDF]
Single-cell proteomics (SCP) is transforming our understanding of biological complexity by shifting from bulk proteomics, where signals are averaged over thousands of cells, to the proteome analysis of individual cells. This granular perspective reveals distinct cell states, population heterogeneity, and the underpinnings of disease pathogenesis that ...
