Degradation of NiMo Catalyst Under Intermittent Operation of Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyzer and its Mitigation by Carbon Encapsulation

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Herein, by employing a reference electrode, the durability of anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer (AEMWE) under intermittent condition is demonstrated to be governed by the stability of the cathode catalyst. By encapsulating NiMo catalyst with carbon shells, the oxidation‐induced irreversible transformation to inactive hydroxide is prevented ...

Progress of Aqueous Rechargeable Zn–CO2 Batteries with a Focus on Cathode Bifunctional Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Aqueous rechargeable Zn–CO2 batteries are emerging as a promising technology for sustainable energy storage and carbon dioxide (CO2) utilization, owing to their high safety, theoretical capacity, and product diversity. Despite their significant theoretical potential, the application of Zn–CO2 batteries is hindered due to several challenges, including ...

Relationship Between Kyphosis and Postoperative Gastroesophageal Reflux After Proximal Gastrectomy

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This study examined the relationship between kyphosis and postoperative gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) after proximal gastrectomy using a kyphosis definition that is familiar to surgeons for preoperative assessment. Multivariate analysis revealed that kyphosis is an independent risk factor for GERD after proximal gastrectomy.

Yunweiling alleviates functional constipation: integrating network pharmacology and experimental study

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In a study combining network pharmacological analysis and experimental verification, yunweiling has been shown improve functional constipation by inhibiting the PI3K‐Akt‐p53 signaling pathway and reducing the expression of TP53. Abstract Background This study investigated the impacts and mechanisms of yunweiling in the management of Functional ...
