Production of heavy particles by protons on protons
We calculate the production of heavy particles in the multi-GeV energy range using parton-model and statistical considerations. We discuss both central production and fragmentation. Our picture has implications for the question of the existence of a limiting temperature in hadron interactions.

In this study, the unique role of the unusual lone‐pair‐π conjugation mechanism in poly(1,4‐anthraquinone) (P14AQ) is explored as an organic electrode material. Unlike traditional π‐π interactions, P14AQ's conjugation involves lone pairs of oxygen atoms interacting with the π cloud of adjacent units, enabling stable charge transport even with minimal π‐

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Proton-Proton Scattering at 340 Mev
Measurements of the proton-proton differential scattering cross section using 340-Mev protons show a cross section approximately constant between 41\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} and 90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} in the center of mass system. Two methods of counting the scattered protons have been used.

Protonic ceramic fuel cells offer a promising route to generate power efficiently but face critical challenges in achieving industrially viable activity and stability at their cathodes in CO2‐containing air. This report proposes a new cathode material design strategy to enable the cathode to be both catalytically active and CO2 tolerant through the ...

Proton-proton and pion-proton inelastic collisions and the proton and pion form factors
Abstract A model of proton-proton inelastic collisions at high energies is proposed. It assumes that the amplitude for a collision in which n secondary particles are produced is a product of n form factors identical with the charge form factor of the proton. The predictions of the model are compared with the experimental data.
