Self‐Healing and Stretchable Synaptic Transistor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐healing stretchable synaptic transistor (3S‐T) is realized using a p‐PVDF‐HFP‐DBP/PDMS‐MPU‐IU bilayer as gate insulator, where dipole‐dipole interaction enhances polarization to achieve a large memory window. Leveraging its neuronal biomimicry, the synaptic transistor demonstrates electrically compatibility with the biological brain. Furthermore,

Digitizing the Filtration Interface: A Smart, Modular Janus Wood Platform for Self‐Reporting Oil/Water Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work developed a smart Janus wood membrane integrating asymmetric wettability with built‐in electrical sensing for oil‐water separation. The membrane achieved > 99.5% separation efficiency and high flux by leveraging wood's natural anisotropic pore structure.

Rapid redistribution of synaptic PSD-95 in the neocortex in vivo. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS Biology, 2006
Most excitatory synapses terminate on dendritic spines. Spines vary in size, and their volumes are proportional to the area of the postsynaptic density (PSD) and synaptic strength.

A Comparative Study of Regional Cerebral Blood Flow Asymmetry Index in Stroke Patients with or without Poststroke Depression Using 99mTc-ECD Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography

open access: yesWorld Journal of Nuclear Medicine, 2022
Introduction Stroke is a major cause of death and disability around the globe. The development of depression following a stroke further increases the disability and impairs functional recovery. In recent decades, despite the advancement in structural and

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

The potential risk factors of early-onset post-stroke depression from immuno-inflammatory perspective

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2022
BackgroundMounting evidence strongly uncovered that peripheral immuno-inflammatory response induced by acute stroke is associated with the appearance of post-stroke depression (PSD), but the mechanism remains unclear.Methods103 stroke patients were ...

Min(Max-PSD) and Max(Min-PSD) as lifetime distributions in Network’s Reliability

open access: yesAnalele ştiinţifice ale Universităţii "Ovidius" Constanţa. Seria Matematică, 2022
Abstract In our paper we describe the corresponding dynamic mathematical models to perform a comparative analysis of the reliability of two types of networks: serial-parallel and parallel-serial when the number of subnetworks is constant and the numbers of units in each sub-network are Power Series Distributed (PSD) random variables ...

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...
