Phase Diagram of Pseudo-Ternary System KAlF4–K3AlF6–KBe2F5

Thermochimica Acta, 2001
Abstract For developing a new aluminum brazing flux, the liquidus in the pseudo-ternary system KAlF4–K3AlF6–KBe2F5 were determined by DTA and visual poly-thermal methods. The results indicated that the ternary eutectic point E in the system melts at 310°C and located in KBe2F5 (81 mol%), KAlF4 (15 mol%) and KF (4 mol%). The melts those contain KBe2F5

The Pseudo-Ternary Phase Diagrams and Properties of Anionic–Nonionic Mixed Surfactant Reverse Micellar Systems

Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2015
Abstract Reverse micelles have drawn attention of many research workers. However, most of the early efforts were focused on the single-phase reverse micelles. In this study, rhamnolipid, a kind of biosurfactant, was firstly tested to form a mixed reversed micellar systems with tween 80.

Pseudo-Ternary Phase Diagrams of Aqueous Mixtures of Quil a, Cholesterol and Phospholipid Prepared by the Lipid-Film Hydration Method

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 2004
Pseudo-ternary phase diagrams of the polar lipids Quil A, cholesterol (Chol) and phosphatidylcholine (PC) in aqueous mixtures prepared by the lipid film hydration method (where dried lipid film of phospholipids and cholesterol are hydrated by an aqueous solution of Quil A) were investigated in terms of the types of particulate structures formed therein.

Investigation on the Phase Diagram of LiCl-KCl-NdCl3 Pseudo-Ternary System

Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion, 2018
The ternary phase diagram of LiCl-KCl-NdCl3 system has been investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), followed by characterization of the coexisting phases in the solid state by x-ray diffraction, in order to understand the interactions in the NdCl3-LiCl-KCl ternary system. The results of these experiments showed that LiCl and K2NdCl5 form a

Investigations Into the Formation and Characterization of Phospholipid Microemulsions. I. Pseudo-Ternary Phase Diagrams of Systems Containing Water-Lecithin-Alcohol-Isopropyl Myristate

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 1993
Abstract Pseudo-ternary phase diagrams have been constructed for systems comprising of water-lecithin-alcohol-isopropyl myristate. Two types of lecithin were used in this study, namely soybean (Epikuron 200) and egg lecithin (Ovothin 200). Seven short chain alcohols (i.e., n-propanol, isopropanol, n-butanol, sec-butanol, isobutanol, tert-butanol and ...

Phase Diagrams for Pseudo-Ternary System of {IPM (1) + [CTAB (21) + Butan-1-Ol (22)] (2) + Water (3)} at Temperature 303.15 K

Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2015
Abstract The phase diagrams of the pseudo-ternary system {Isopropyl myristate (IPM) (1) + [hexadecyl-trimethyl-ammonium bromide (CTAB) (21) + butan-1-ol (22)] (2) + water (3)} at temperature 303.15 K were constructed by visual observation and electrical conductivity methods.

Thermodynamics for Leaching of Scheelite—Pseudo-Ternary-System Phase Diagram and Its Application

Metallurgical and Materials Transactions B, 2008
For thermodynamic reasons, it has been considered that NaOH cannot be used for the digestion of scheelite. Though the caustic thermal mill process has been applied in industry for a long time, people still do not understand it well. In this article, a method called the “pseudo-ternary-system diagram method” is proposed and is used as a tool for ...
