Psoralen Treatment of Adenovirus Particles Eliminates Virus Replication and Transcription While Maintaining the Endosomolytic Activity of the Virus Capsid [PDF]
Adenovirus entry into its host cell transiently permeabilizes the cell allowing the coentry of reagents such as DNA. We compare here adenovirus inactivation with β-propiolactone and several psoralen derivatives, seeking reagents that disrupt the viral ...

European Guideline (EuroGuiDerm) on atopic eczema: Living update
The updated guideline includes a new evidence‐based recommendation for the IL‐13 inhibitor lebrikizumab. In addition, the Janus kinase inhibitors baricitinib and abrocitinib, which were initially only approved for adult patients, are now also recommended for children from the age of 2 and adolescents from the age of 12, respectively.

Coupling of adenovirus to transferrin-polylysine/DNA complexes greatly enhances receptor-mediated gene delivery and expression of transfected genes. [PDF]
We are developing efficient methods for gene transfer into tissue culture cells. We have previously shown that coupling of a chimeric adenovirus with polylysine allowed the construction of an adenovirus-polylysine-reporter-gene complex that transferred ...

Regorafenib‐Induced Hand‐Foot Skin Reaction in an Adolescent
ABSTRACT Regorafenib is a multikinase inhibitor commonly used in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), and colorectal cancer. It is also used off‐label for progressive or metastatic osteosarcoma, which is the most common primary bone malignancy in children and adolescents.

The Role of Sex Hormones in Cartilaginous Tissues: A Scoping Review
The role of sex hormones within cartilaginous tissues remains poorly understood. To address this, we assembled and summarized the available literature regarding the effects of sex hormones in the intervertebral disc, temporomandibular joint, and articular cartilage.

Evolution of substrate recognition sites (SRSs) in cytochromes P450 from Apiaceae exemplified by the CYP71AJ subfamily [PDF]
Background Large proliferations of cytochrome P450 encoding genes resulting from gene duplications can be termed as ‘blooms’, providing genetic material for the genesis and evolution of biosynthetic pathways.

Effect of psoralen on bone formation [PDF]
AbstractTo compare the amount of new bone and bone cells produced by psoralen in collagen matrix to that produced by collagen matrix in vivo. Eighteen bone defects, 5 mm by 10 mm were created in the parietal bone of nine New Zealand White rabbits. Six defects were grafted with psoralen mixed with collagen matrix.
