Pt supported by three-dimensional mesoporous MCM-48 with large specific surface area for toluene catalytic oxidation

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2023
Supported catalyst Pt/MCM-48 was prepared by using MCM-48 with large specific surface area of ≈1400 m2/g as a support and applied for catalytic combustion of toluene.

Kelvin-Helmholtz instability is the result of parity-time symmetry breaking

open access: yes, 2018
Parity-Time (PT)-symmetry is being actively investigated as a fundamental property of observables in quantum physics. We show that the governing equations of the classical two-fluid interaction and the incompressible fluid system are PT-symmetric, and ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Pengaruh Penutupan-Balik Tak-Sinkron terhadap Generator Induksi 3-Fase dalam Skema Pembangkitan Tersebar

open access: yesJurnal Nasional Teknik Elektro dan Teknologi Informasi, 2017
Small and medium-scale plants connected to the distribution line form a distributed generation (DG) system. Unsynchronized reclosing, due to the operation of a recloser, is an important issue in DG systems. In this paper, simulations of typical DG system

Magnetization reversal in [Ni/Pt]6/Pt(x)/[Co/Pt]6 multilayers

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2011
Abstract The magnetization reversal is studied in magnetron sputtered artificial superstructures of the form [Ni/Pt] 6 /Pt( x )/[Co/Pt] 6 with perpendicular anisotropy, in which the [Co/Pt] 6 stacks have higher coercivity than the [Ni/Pt] 6 . For x ≥2 nm the two stacks reverse separately and exhibit characteristic stepped loops with a “plateau” in

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Graphdiyne as a Promising Substrate for Stabilizing Pt Nanoparticle Catalyst

open access: yes, 2015
At present, Pt nanoparticle catalysts in fuel cells suffer from aggregation and loss of chemical activity. In this work, graphdiyne, which has natural porous structure, was proposed as substrate with high adsorption ability to stabilize Pt nanoparticles.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
