Implementing Health‐Related Quality of Life Assessment in Pediatric Oncology: A Feasibility Study
ABSTRACT Background There is growing interest in embedding health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) assessment and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs) within clinical cancer care. This study evaluated the feasibility, acceptability, and usability of implementing an electronic PROM (ePROM) platform to measure HRQoL in children with cancer ...

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

L-diversity on K-anonymity with External Database for Improving Privacy Preserving Data Publishing
The data must be secure and measurable at the public when it releases to view. The data table produces personal information and sensitive values. They are maintained for secrecy, the anonymity is the best method to protect the data. There are many anonymity methods to protect the data. k -anonymity is one method to protect the data.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Nonlinear Processes in Magnetic Nanodots under Perpendicular Pumping: Micromagnetic Simulations [PDF]
Processes that take place in permalloy nanodots under external electromagnetic pumping are considered. It is shown that in such system similar to bulk samples Suhl and kinetic instability processes are possible.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...
