The textbook “Didáctica de la Matemática Eurística” from Pedro Puig Adam
The “Didáctica Matemática Eurística” is a textbook that shows the great teaching work of Professor Pedro Puig Adam in Sapin, In this document we analyze the lesson from the point of view of the didactics of mathematics. The mathematical content of the lessons corresponds to the Spain baccaulaureate in the mid-20th century.

We define sparse saturated fusion systems and show that, for odd primes, sparse systems are constrained. This simplifies the proof of the Glauberman-Thompson p-nilpotency theorem for fusion systems and a related theorem of Stellmacher.

Abstract INTRODUCTION Plasma phosphorylated tau (p‐tau)181, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), neurofilament light chain (NfL), and amyloid beta ratio (Aβ42/40) may have diagnostic and prognostic value in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Here we assess which markers can best identify AD from controls and other non‐AD dementias in a large international ...

Modal Participation Estimated from the Response Correlation Matrix
In this paper, we are considering the case of estimating the modal participation vectors from the operating response of a structure. Normally, this is done using a fitting technique either in the time domain using the correlation function matrix or in ...

Genetic structure of Pleurobranchaea maculata in New Zealand : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics, The New Zealand Institute for Advanced Study, Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand [PDF]
The grey side-gilled sea slug (Pleurobranchaea maculata), which is native to the western and south Pacific, is known to contain high concentrations of tetrodotoxin (TTX). P. maculata populations around New Zealand exhibit individual, spatial and temporal

Normal Subsystems of Fusion Systems
In this article we prove that for any saturated fusion system, that the (unique) smallest weakly normal subsystem of it on a given strongly closed subgroup is actually normal.

Closing the air gap: the use of drones for studying wildlife ecophysiology
ABSTRACT Techniques for non‐invasive sampling of ecophysiological data in wild animals have been developed in response to challenges associated with studying captive animals or using invasive methods. Of these, drones, also known as Unoccupied Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and their associated sensors, have emerged as a promising tool in the ecophysiology ...

One-Step FE Model Updating Using Local Correspondence and Mode Shape Orthogonality
In this paper, it is described how the matrix mixing model updating technique can be combined with the local correspondence (LC) mode shape expansion algorithm, to give a new finite element (FE) model updating method.
