Nano‐Engineered Titanium Implants Loaded With Gingival Fibroblasts‐Derived Microvesicles Enhance Early Osseointegration And Soft Tissue Attachment In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Our study showed that human primary gingival fibroblast–derived microvesicles on nano‐engineered titanium implants promote early osseointegration and soft‐tissue attachment in vivo. ABSTRACT Titanium dental implants require both reliable osseointegration and peri‐implant soft tissue seal formation to ensure long‐term success. While osseointegration has

Toward Energy Efficient Electrochemical Valorization of Waste Nitrate and Sulfide

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an integrated electrochemical strategy couples nitrate reduction with sulfide oxidation for energy‐efficient wastewater valorization. A Cu‐Co dual‑site catalyst, engineered for close proximity, promotes *NO2 relay and subsequently NH3 formation, enabling the system to operate at substantially reduced cell voltages and produce high ...

Improvement of Hardwood Pulp Yield in Continuous Kraft Cooking and Estimation of Pulp Yields (Part III)-Pulp Yields of Isothermal Cooking with Kraft and Polysulfide Liquors as well as Anthraquinone-

open access: yesJAPAN TAPPI JOURNAL, 2004

Aqueously Upcycled Lignin with Emergent Tribonegativity for Skin‐Integrated Triboelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 9, 12 February 2026.
Aqueously upcycled lignin is transformed into a printable ink that self‐assembles into a nanotextured surface during printing with the highest reported biopolymer‐based tribonegativity. The resulting skin‐integrated triboelectric sensor enables high‐fidelity cardiovascular monitoring and objective mental workload classification, demonstrating a ...

Influence on pulping yield and pulp properties of wood density of Acacia melanoxylon

open access: yesJournal of Wood Science, 2012
Wood density and pulp yield are key parameters in the evaluation of tree productivity and quality for pulping and their relationships are of high practical importance. The influence of wood density on pulp yield and other pulp quality parameters was investigated using Acacia melanoxylon and its natural variability as a case study.

Energy‐Efficient, Sustainable Cascade Glucose Electrooxidation into Glucaric Acid

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a tandem system that efficiently converts glucose into glucaric acid while generating renewable electricity. By decoupling the oxidation process into two cascaded steps, the system achieves an overall 90% Faradaic efficiency and 80% conversion efficiency at ∼0.6 VRHE, significantly reducing energy consumption compared to traditional
