Dynamic response of viscous compressible fluids in rigid tubes [PDF]
Data on experimental verification of Iberall's analysis applies to such problems as pressure sensing, pneumatic control circuits with bellows, measuring irregular shaped volumes, and transmitting fluid power by pulsating ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Heat transfer in a pulsating flow in a converging channel
Experimental research of convective heat transfer in a plane converging channel has been conducted. Distributions of heat transfer coefficient on the channel wall in steady and pulsating air flow have been obtained.

The assessment bioenergy of cardiac contraction in the conditions of mechanical support circulation
Aim: to develop a new modified index for the assessment of bioenergy heart in conditions of heart failure. To assess the energy of the heart when using systems to bypass the left ventricle of the heart using non-pulsed flow pumps.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Two-dimensional structures in the quintic Ginzburg-Landau equation [PDF]
By using ZEUS cluster at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University we perform extensive numerical simulations based on a two-dimensional Fourier spectral method Fourier spatial discretization and an explicit scheme for time differencing) to find the range of ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Fluid Dynamic Problems Awaiting Solution
It is recommended that fluid dynamic problems related to specific phenomena of pulsating flow should be dealt with on the basis of non-dimensional parameters. Part I presents a survey of essential parameters.
