Influence of a Pulsed Electric Field on Charge Generation in a Flowing Protein Solution
It is known that a charge is generated in water and protein solutions upon their motion; this phenomenon is also observed in analytical systems for atomic force microscopy (AFM)-based fishing.

Single-color two-photon spectroscopy of Rydberg states in electric fields [PDF]
Rydberg states of atomic helium with principal quantum numbers ranging from n=20 to n=100 have been prepared by non-resonance-enhanced single-color two-photon excitation from the metastable 2 {^3}S{_1} state.

A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Molecular Dynamics Simulation for the Demulsification of O/W Emulsion under Pulsed Electric Field
A bidirectional pulsed electric field (BPEF) method is considered a simple and novel technique to demulsify O/W emulsions. In this paper, molecular dynamics simulation was used to investigate the transformation and aggregation behavior of oil droplets in

High Voltage Pulse Generator for Pulsed Electric Field Treatments
In food processing, biotechnology and medicine, pulsed electric field (PEF) applications are used in studies on increasing the permeability of the cell membrane or inactivation of microorganisms. PEF applications require high voltage pulse generators. PEF generators are designed depending on the application types.

Electrostatic trapping and in situ detection of Rydberg atoms above chip-based transmission lines [PDF]
Beams of helium atoms in Rydberg-Stark states with principal quantum number $n=48$ and electric dipole moments of 4600~D have been decelerated from a mean initial longitudinal speed of 2000~m/s to zero velocity in the laboratory-fixed frame-of-reference ...

This work discusses the use of blended channel materials in OECTs. It explores how mixing glycolated and alkoxylated polymers in various ratios offers a simpler and more efficient route to tuning OECT properties. The performance of the polymer blends is compared to the corresponding copolymers, demonstrating similar OECT characteristics, swelling ...

Electric fields in plasmas under pulsed currents [PDF]
Electric fields in a plasma that conducts a high-current pulse are measured as a function of time and space. The experiment is performed using a coaxial configuration, in which a current rising to 160 kA in 100 ns is conducted through a plasma that prefills the region between two coaxial electrodes.
