High quality ultrafast transmission electron microscopy using resonant microwave cavities [PDF]
Ultrashort, low-emittance electron pulses can be created at a high repetition rate by using a TM$_{110}$ deflection cavity to sweep a continuous beam across an aperture.

Delineating the role of plant stature towards heat stress tolerance in field pea (Pisum sativum L.)
Terminal heat stress severely affects field pea production in tropical climates. Identifying and characterizing marker-trait(s) remain vital for breeding heat-tolerant cultivars of field pea.

The spectral evolution and spectral lag behavior of 92 bright pulses from 84 gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) observed by the Fermi GBM telescope are studied. These pulses can be classified into hard-to-soft pulses (H2S, 64/92), H2S-dominated-tracking pulses (21 ...

Single-cycle terahertz pulses with amplitudes exceeding 1 MV/cm generated by optical rectification in LiNbO3 and applications to nonlinear optics [PDF]
Using a tilted-pump-pulse-front scheme, we generate single-cycle terahertz (THz) pulses by optical rectification of femtosecond laser pulses in LiNbO3.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Genetic variations for herbicide tolerance (Imazethapyr) in chickpea (Cicer arietinum)
Plant resistance has been widely recognized as the most potential and successful way to minimize losses due to biotic stresses including weeds in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.). Weeds pose great threat to chickpea production through competing for natural

Nonlinear optics with stationary pulses of light
We show that the recently demonstrated technique for generating stationary pulses of light [Nature {\bf 426}, 638 (2003)] can be extended to localize optical pulses in all three spatial dimensions in a resonant atomic medium.

Experimental observation of carrier-envelope phase effects by multicycle pulses [PDF]
We present an experimental and theoretical study of carrier-envelope phase (CEP) effects on the population transfer between two bound atomic states interacting with pulses consisting of many cycles. Using intense radio-frequency pulse with Rabi frequency
