Regenerative braking strategy based on deep reinforcement learning for an electric mining truck

open access: yes工程科学学报
With the promotion of national “carbon neutral” and “green mine” strategies, pure electric mining vehicles are crucial in promoting energy conservation and emission reduction in the mining industry.

Parameter design and performance analysis of shift actuator for a two-speed automatic mechanical transmission for pure electric vehicles

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2016
Recent developments of pure electric vehicles have shown that pure electric vehicles equipped with two-speed or multi-speed gearbox possess higher energy efficiency by ensuring the drive motor operates at its peak performance range. This article presents

Leucine‐rich glioma inactivated 1 (LGI1) is a ganglioside‐binding protein

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neuronal hyperexcitability associated with a decrease/absence of the extracellular protein LGI1 has been suggested to be primarily due to the downregulation of Kv1 channel expression. The molecular mechanisms underlying this decrease have not yet been elucidated.

Membrane composition and thermodynamic identity as boundaries of life for synthetic cell research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
What makes a cell a cell? The boundary of a living cell is not just a wall. Read as a Markov blanket, the membrane separates internal from external states, generating identity and non‐equilibrium order. Can this identity be rebuilt from scratch in a synthetic cell?

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Optimization and Application for Hydraulic Electric Hybrid Vehicle

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Targeting the application of medium and heavy vehicles, a hydraulic electric hybrid vehicle (HEHV) was designed, and its energy management control strategy is discussed in this paper. Matlab/Simulink was applied to establish the pure electric vehicle and

Optimal pure strategies for a discrete search game

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Operational Research
Consider a two-person zero-sum search game between a Hider and a Searcher. The Hider chooses to hide in one of $n$ discrete locations (or "boxes") and the Searcher chooses a search sequence specifying which order to look in these boxes until finding the Hider.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

A Logical–Computational Framework for Discovering Three-Player Games with Unique Pure Nash Equilibrium Payoffs

open access: yesMathematics
The Nash equilibrium is a central concept in game theory, widely used across economics, social sciences, computer science, and artificial intelligence. However, computing Nash equilibria, especially in multi-player games, is a complex and computationally

The Game of Pure Strategy is solved!

open access: yesCoRR, 2012
We solve the classical "Game of Pure Strategy" using linear programming. We notice an intricate even-odd behavior in the results of our computations, that seems to encourage odd or maximal bids.
