The graphical abstract shows the principal results of this study. Eight major aroma‐contributing compounds (nonanal, octanal, dimethyl tetrasulfide, hexanal, 1‐octen‐3‐ol, (E)‐2‐nonenal, heptanal, and (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal) were identified by electronic nose and GC‐O‐MS analysis, and their content increased with age.

The Genetic Code Boolean Lattice [PDF]
The algebraic structures of the genetic code are most important to obtain additional information about the semantic code and its applications. In this paper we define two dual Boolean codon lattices of the genetic code using hydrogen bond numbers and the chemical types of bases: purines and pyrimidines.

Severe myelosuppression and alopecia after thiopurine initiation in a patient with NUDT15 deficiency
Thiopurines are a class of immunosuppressant and antineoplastic agents. They are widely used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, haematological malignancies and autoimmune diseases, but can cause significant toxicity. Inherited gene mutations are now recognized as independent risk factors for severe adverse drug reactions to thiopurines ...

Abstract Biodegradable polymers have been getting more and more attention because of their contribution to the plastic pollution environmental issues and to move towards a circular economy. Nevertheless, biodegradable materials still exhibit various disadvantages restraining a widespread use in the market.

Modeling gene's length distribution in genomes [PDF]
We show, that the specific distribution of gene's length, which is observed in natural genomes, might be a result of a growth process, in which a single length scale $L(t)$ develops that grows with time as $t^{1/3}$. This length scale could be associated with the length of the longest gene in an evolving genome.

Polyphenolic extracts and their fractions from five plant sources inhibit calcium oxalate and brushite crystal formation in vitro, with non‐anthocyanin fractions showing stronger anti‐lithogenic effects supported by molecular docking. ABSTRACT Nephrolithiasis, or kidney stone formation, is a widespread global health concern.
