Cooperative Pursuit by Multiple Pursuers of a Single Evader

Journal of Aerospace Information Systems, 2020
This paper considers pursuit-evasion differential games in the Euclidean plane where an evader is engaged by multiple pursuers and point capture is required.

Optimal Trajectory Characterization for a Pursuer Navigation Scheme

2008 IEEE International Conference on Networking, Sensing and Control, 2008
In this paper we examine the geometry of a number of bearing-only navigation schemes for guiding a pursuer from a fixed initial position to a final target position. We explicitly characterize the optimal trajectories for the given problems in terms of analyzing those trajectories which attempt to minimize the error in an estimate of the target position

Chapter I: A Pursuer

2009
Notwithstanding the fears so justly excited from the mixt emotions and exertions of Sir Hugh, Mr. Tyrold had the happiness to see him fall into a tranquil sleep, from which he awoke without any return of pain; his night was quiet; the next day...

A differential game with two pursuers and one evader

Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, 1976
This paper is concerned with a coplanar pursuitevasion problem in which a faster evader E with constant speed w > 1 must pass between two pursuers P 1 and P 2 having unit speed, the payoff being the distance of closest approach to either one of the pursuers. This problem is of the two-players zero-sum type.

Cooperative Multiple Pursuers against a Single Evader

Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems, 2016
This paper considers a pursuit-evasion game for non-holonomic systems where a group of pursuers attempts to capture an evader in a bounded connected domain. The problem is challenging because all vehicles have the same maneuvering capability in terms of speed and turn radius constraint.

Are gifted students challenge pursuers?

2022
Challenging education has always been considered a necessity and a presupposition, but it has not been considered whether gifted students also have a challenging nature. This study answers this question and examines whether gifted students have a challenging nature and seek to face the challenge.
