On Linear Pursuit-Evasion Game Problems with GGr-Constraints on Controls of Players
This article investigates a differential game of pursuit-evasion for linear motion dynamics of two players, a pursuer and an evader. The pursuer’s control is subject to a geometric constraint (its Euclidean norm does not exceed a given constant α), while

We propose a method for optimizing multiple-drone pursuers’ performance in handling attacks from Kamikaze multiple-drone evaders on a battlefield. The central aspect of this problem is to minimize damage produced by evaders towards a defended area ...

A pursuit problem in an infinite system of second-order differential equations [PDF]
We study a pursuit differential game problem for an infinite system of second-order differential equations. The control functions of players, i.e., a pursuer and an evader are subject to integral constraints. The pursuit is completed if z(τ) = z˙ (τ) = 0

Why human connection is the true metric of research success
Human‐centred mentorship can be shaped by mentor attributes, actions, intrinsic drive and career ambition. Drawing on reflections across Singapore and France, as well as workshop insights from FEBS‐IUBMB ENABLE 2024, this article shows that human‐centred mentorship creates the conditions for sustainable growth, well‐being and retention in research ...

Cooperative Pursuit with Multi-Pursuer and One Faster Free-moving Evader
This paper addresses a multi-pursuer single-evader pursuit-evasion game where the free-moving evader moves faster than the pursuers. Most of the existing works impose constraints on the faster evader such as limited moving area and moving direction. When

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

An Overview of Recent Advances in Pursuit–Evasion Games with Unmanned Surface Vehicles
With the rapid development of perception, decision-making, and control technologies, pursuit–evasion (PE) games with unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) have become an interesting research topic in military implementations and civilian areas. In this paper,

Differential Game for an Infinite System of Two-Block Differential Equations
We present a pursuit differential game for an infinite system of two-block differential equations in Hilbert space l2. The pursuer and evader control functions are subject to integral constraints.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.
