Carbon composite–PVC based membrane coated platinum electrode for chromium determination

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2010
A new synthesized 1-(2-(1H-imidazole-1-yl)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethylidene)-2-phenyl hydrazine has been used as an ionophore in carbon composite-PVC coated platinum electrode for fabrication of chromium(III)-selective sensor. The homogenization procedure of membrane mixture was performed by applying of the ultrasound in this respect.

Deoxycholate‐sensitive PVC membrane electrode

Electroanalysis, 1991
AbstractA deoxycholate‐sensitive membrane electrode has been developed using cetyltrimethylammonium deoxycholate as the sensor material. The electrode can be used for the potentiometric determination of sodium deoxycholate.

Urea sensors based on PVC membrane pH electrode

Talanta, 1994
Several procedures of urease immobilization on the surface of the polymeric membrane pH electrode with tri-n-dodecylamine as a neutral carrier were compared. The best results were obtained for the urea sensor with covalently bound urease. The sensor characteristics including the effect of buffer, pH and concentration and the effect of stirring rate are

Selectivity of neutral carriep-pvc membrane electrodes

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1974
Abstract The selectivity coefficients of monovalent cations with neutral-carrier PVC membrane electrodes have been measured in order to establish the influence of solvent interactions in such media. The results are compared with those from liquid membrane electrodes.

PVC membrane electrodes of anisodamine, N-butylscopolamine and homatropine

The Analyst, 1988
PVC membrane electrodes of anisodamine, N-butylscopolamine and homatropine were prepared with an alkaloid-tetraphenylborate ion-associate complex as the electroactive material. The response, selectivity and stability of these electrodes are good. Use of the electrodes in potentiometric methods to determine these drugs is simpler, faster and more ...

New potentiometric PVC membrane electrode for Ferric Reduction Antioxidant Power assay

Food Chemistry, 2023
In this study, a fast, reproducible and simple-to-apply a new potentiometric determination method was developed for the evaluation of iron (III) reducing power (FRAP), one of the antioxidant capacity tests. For this purpose, an all-solid-state contact iron (III)-selective poly vinyl chloride (PVC) membrane electrode (FRAP-PME) has been developed.

Triiodide PVC Membrane Electrodes Based on Charge-Transfer Complexes

Analytical Chemistry, 2002
Three new electrodes were prepared by incorporating two different charge-transfer complexes and amino crown ether into plasticized PVC membranes. The electrodes showed Nernstian response to triiodide ion over the activity range from 1.0 x 10(-5) to 1.0 x 10(-1) mol x L(-1) with detection limits at approximately 1.0 x 10(-6) mol x L(-1).

Hydralazine-selective PVC membrane electrode based on hydralazinium tetraphenylborate

Talanta, 1988
A hydralazine ion-selective PVC membrane electrode based on hydralazinium tetraphenylborate has been prepared with dioctyl phthalate as plasticizer. The electrode showed linear response with a slope factor of 57.5 mV/concentration decade at 20 degrees over the concentration range from 4 x 10(-4) to 10(-1)M hydralazine.

Lanthanum(III) PVC Membrane Electrodes Based on 1,3,5-Trithiacyclohexane

Analytical Chemistry, 2002
Novel plasticized polymeric membrane (PPME) and membrane-coated graphite (MCGE) electrodes based on 1,3,5-trithiacyclohexane for highly selective determination of La3+ ion have been developed. The electrodes exhibit Nernstian responses over very wide concentration ranges (8.0 x 10(-6)-5.0 x 10(-2) M for PPME and 4.0 x 10(-8)-1.0 x 10(-2) M for MCGE ...

Benzylpenicillin PVC membrane electrode for the determination of antibiotics in formulations

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1988
A PVC (polyvinychloride) ion selective electrode, employing benzyldimethyl-cetylammoniumbenzylpenicillin as sensor, was prepared, characterized and applied to the analysis of commercially available formulations containing benzylpenicillin and other antibiotics of the penicillin or cephalosporin group.
