Detrusor Overactivity and Urodynamics

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, Volume 45, Issue 2, Page 279-285, February 2026.
ABSTRACT While overactive bladder (OAB) is a clinical diagnosis, detrusor overactivity is identified through urodynamic testing. UDS is usually considered when primary treatment for OAB fails, because UDS is expensive, time consuming, invasive, and sometimes inaccurate, and it is not considered to influence treatment strategy substantially.

Bladder Function and Safety of Vibegron in Men With Overactive Bladder Receiving Treatment for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Outcomes From the Phase 3 Randomized Controlled COURAGE Trial

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, Volume 45, Issue 2, Page 299-304, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Vibegron was associated with improvements in efficacy versus placebo and was well tolerated in men with overactive bladder (OAB) on pharmacotherapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in the COURAGE trial (NCT03902080). Additional safety, bladder function, and urodynamics data are provided.

The Space of Harmonic Maps from the 2-sphere to the Complex Projective Plane

open access: yes, 1995
We study the topology of the space of harmonic maps from $S^2$ to \CP 2$. We prove that the subspaces consisting of maps of a fixed degree and energy are path connected.

Impact of Lipid Profile Alterations on the Right Heart Function and Prognosis in Pre‐Capillary Pulmonary Hypertension Patients: A Prospective Cohort Study

open access: yesRespirology, Volume 31, Issue 2, Page 174-183, February 2026.
This study found that reduced HDL‐C correlates with impaired RV systolic function and RA strain, highlighting a mechanistic link between lipid abnormalities and right heart remodelling. Additionally, decreased HDL‐C and LDL‐C were identified as independent mortality predictors in precPH patients. Integrating lipid parameters into ESC and ESC‐CMR models
