Architected Elastomers as Load Bearing Actuators for Untethered Soft Robot Walking

Electrically driven soft actuators that enable untethered soft robot walking are developed from 3D printed architected elastomers. The actuators have a handed shearing auxetic structure that enables fast, robust, and battery‐powered motions. The actuators are 3D printed from thermoplastic polyurethane on a desktop FDM printer.

Combining a biomimetic soft‐robot with deep‐learning data analytics sheds light on a unique peripheral dynamics seen in the biosonar system of bats: Bats modulate their ultrasonic biosonar signals upon emission as well as reception with variable, yet highly coordinated motion patterns of their noseleaves and pinnae.

A new multi‐level inverter topology with boosting feature considering the reduced switch count has been presented, compared and validated. Abstract This paper introduces a 9L T‐type boost inverter (9L‐TTI) based multilevel topology, which generates a nine‐level output voltage in the boost mode.

SCRIPT: Predicting Single‐Cell Long‐Range Cis‐Regulation Based on Pretrained Graph Attention Networks

SCRIPT is a novel method inferring single‐cell cis‐regulatory relationships (CRRs) from transcriptomic and chromatin accessibility data. SCRIPT incorporates two key innovations: graph causal attention networks supported by empirical CRR evidence, and representation learning enhanced through pretraining on atlas‐scale single‐cell data.

This article presents a dual‐source novel nine‐level inverter (DSN2LI) featuring minimal devices. Utilizing eight switches, which include 2 bidirectional switching devices and 2 uneven dc links, the proposed DSN2LI generates nine levels. The DSN2LI employs the utilization of trinary geometric DC links.
