Critical Role of Polymer Gate Dielectrics on the Charge Carrier Transport in Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Hybrid Multi-Carrier PWM Technique Based on Carrier Reconstruction for Cascaded H-bridge Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In response to the deficiencies that the Carrier Phase Shift (CPS-PWM) and Carrier In-Phase Disposition (IPD-PWM) modulation techniques are applied to Cascaded H-bridge (CHB) multilevel inverters, combined with the advantages of the two techniques, a ...

A Seven-level defined selective harmonic elimination PWM strategy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Selective harmonic elimination pulse-width modulation (SHE-PWM) techniques offer an optimized control approach for a given converter and are therefore suitable for the low switching frequency high-power applications.

Ion‐Reconfigurable “N”‐Shaped Antiambipolar Behavior in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A unique N‐shaped negative differential transconductance (NDT) characteristics is demonstrated in single‐polymer organic electrochemical transistors through a sequential doping–redox–doping process driven by iodide ions. This redox‐driven mechanism enables low‐voltage, ion‐controlled reconfigurability and tunable current modulation, allowing seamless ...

A Novel Region-Refinement Pulse Width Modulation Method for Torque Ripple Reduction of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Brushless dc motors (BLDCMs) exhibit relatively large torque ripple due to the current pulsation during the commutation process. In this paper, first, the production mechanism of the commutation torque ripple is analyzed in detail, where the diode ...

Online control of AC/AC converter based SHEPWM technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Conventional online control of AC/AC converter controlled by the selective harmonic elimination pulse width modulation technique (SHEPWM) is based on storing the offline calculated switching angle values in a form of lookup table.

Pattern Formation in Non‐Equilibrium Architected Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article demonstrates an artificial mechanical system ‐ a robotic metamaterial ‐ as an accessible and versatile platform within which to explore and prescribe the reaction‐diffusion driven pattern formation hitherto associated with comparatively less accessible and versatile non‐equilibrium biological and chemical systems.
