One-pot synthesis of benzochromeno-pyrazole derivatives

Molecular Diversity, 2010
One-pot synthesis of different benzochromeno-pyrazole derivatives has been reported via reaction of aldehydes, 3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one and α-naphthol/β-naphthol in the presence of sulfamic acid.

Pyrazole and imidazo[1,2-b]pyrazole Derivatives as New Potential Antituberculosis Agents

Medicinal Chemistry, 2019
Background:We screened a large library of differently decorated imidazo-pyrazole and pyrazole derivatives as possible new antitubercular agents and this preliminary screening showed that many compounds are able to totally inhibit Mycobacterium growth (>90 %).

Chromatography of pyrazole derivatives on acetylated paper

Journal of Chromatography A, 1965
Abstract The chromatography of pyrazole on acetylated paper is described. An attempt is made to correlate some of the chromatographic data with the structure of compounds. The influence of the inductive effect of the substituents is clearly seen, especially for 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-x-pyrazoles.

A facile synthesis of sugar-pyrazole derivatives

Carbohydrate Research, 2011
A facile synthesis of sugar-pyrazole derivatives has been accomplished by condensation of sugar-chalcone with hydrazine hydrate under neutral conditions resulting in yields of 70-85%. The products are characterized by FTIR and NMR spectroscopy and by elemental analysis. The β-anomeric forms for these derivatives were assigned by NMR spectroscopy.

Enzymatic halogenation of pyrazoles and pyridine derivatives

Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, 1987
AbstractPyrazole, 1‐methylpyrazole and 3‐methylpyrazole are chlorinated by the enzyme chloroperoxidase from Caldariomyces fumago, in the presence of potassium chloride and hydrogen peroxide at pH 2.7, yielding the corresponding 4‐chloro derivatives in good yields. A 4H‐pyrazole is proposed as an intermediate in this reaction.

Thiazolyl-pyrazole derivatives as potential antimycobacterial agents

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2019
Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is an obligate aerobe that is capable of long-term persistence under conditions of low oxygen tension. A series of thiazolyl-pyrazole derivatives (6a-f, 7a-f, 8c, 8e) were screened for antimycobacterial activity against dormant M. tuberculosis H37Ra (D-MTB) and M. bovis BCG (D-BCG).

Novel pyrazole-5-carboxamide and pyrazole–pyrimidine derivatives: Synthesis and anticancer activity

European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2015
A series of novel pyrazole-5-carboxamide and pyrazole-pyrimidine derivatives were designed and synthesized. All compounds have been screened for their antiproliferative activity against MGC-803, SGC-7901 and Bcap-37 cell lines in vitro. The results revealed that compounds 8a, 8c and 8e exhibited strong inhibitory activity against MGC-803 cell line. The
