Enzymatic halogenation of pyrazoles and pyridine derivatives
Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, 1987AbstractPyrazole, 1‐methylpyrazole and 3‐methylpyrazole are chlorinated by the enzyme chloroperoxidase from Caldariomyces fumago, in the presence of potassium chloride and hydrogen peroxide at pH 2.7, yielding the corresponding 4‐chloro derivatives in good yields. A 4H‐pyrazole is proposed as an intermediate in this reaction.

A pyrazole derivative of curcumin enhances memory
Neurobiology of Aging, 2010Reduced cognitive function is associated with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases as well as brain trauma and ischemia. However, there are few compounds that enhance memory and are also orally active. We recently synthesized a pyrazole derivative of curcumin called CNB-001 that enhances the activity of Ca(2+)/calmodulin dependent protein kinase II ...

Anticancer effect of three pyrazole derivatives
Natural Product Research, 2006The evaluation of the cytotoxic properties in vitro of three synthetic tripods containing pyrazole: N,N-bis[(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methyl]aniline (1); N,N-tetrakis[(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methyl]-para-phenylenediamine (2); and N,N-tetrakis-[(1,5-dimethylpyrazol-3-yl)methyl]-para-phenylenediamine (3), was examined for their cytotoxic activity on ...

Development of pyrazole derivatives in the management of inflammation
Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology, 2020AbstractThe therapeutic limitations and poor management of inflammatory conditions are anticipated to impact patients negatively over the coming decades. Following the synthesis of the first pyrazole—antipyrine in 1887, several other derivatives have been screened for anti‐inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic activities. Arguably, the pyrazole ring,

Some gold(III) derivatives of pyrazoles
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1985Abstract Various gold(III) derivatives of pyrazoles, pzH, were obtained and characterized. Besides the salt [3,5-Ph2pzH2][AuCl4], they included adducts, AuCl3·pzH, μ-pyrazolato-N,N′-derivatives, [Cl2Au(pz)]n (such as: n = 2 and pz = 3,5-diphenyl-4-chloropyrazolato), and one derivative containing both a neutral pyrazole and a pyrazolato ligand, Cl2Au ...

Chromatography of pyrazole derivatives on acetylated paper
Journal of Chromatography A, 1965Abstract The chromatography of pyrazole on acetylated paper is described. An attempt is made to correlate some of the chromatographic data with the structure of compounds. The influence of the inductive effect of the substituents is clearly seen, especially for 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-x-pyrazoles.

A facile synthesis of sugar-pyrazole derivatives
Carbohydrate Research, 2011A facile synthesis of sugar-pyrazole derivatives has been accomplished by condensation of sugar-chalcone with hydrazine hydrate under neutral conditions resulting in yields of 70-85%. The products are characterized by FTIR and NMR spectroscopy and by elemental analysis. The β-anomeric forms for these derivatives were assigned by NMR spectroscopy.

Inducibility of P450Coh by pyrazole and its derivatives
Biochemical Pharmacology, 1991Pyrazole and several of its derivatives increase the hepatic microsomal coumarin 7-hydroxylase to a variable extent. The strongest inducers are pyrazole itself and those derivatives which have a hydroxy group or a halogen at the 4-position of the molecule.

Synthesis of Pyrazole Dyes Derivatives
Libyan Journal of Science &Technology, 2022Eight azo dyes were prepared by diazotization of 5-amino-3 (cyanomethyl)-1H- pyrazole-4-carbonitrile in presence of sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid at 0°C. We reported that the malononitrile molecule was a very active nucleophile, where can react with the diazonium salt of pyrazole in presence of sodium acetate and ethanol to yield corresponding ...
