Nanozyme‐Integrated Hydrogel Targeting AGEs for Diabetic Osteoarthritis Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
A nanozyme–integrated hydrogel (PTC‐MP) exhibiting with mild photothermal effects is constructed, and a “3R” (restrain‐restore‐reinforce) strategy is proposed for diabetic osteoarthritis (DOA) treatment based on advanced glycation end products (AGEs) targeting.

1,4-Dimethylpyridinium iodide

open access: yesIUCrData, 2017
The title organic salt, C7H10N+·I−, was synthesized from a mixture of 4-methylpyridine and iodomethane in 2-propanol. It crystallized with three independent 1,4-dimethylpyridinium cations and three independent iodide anions in the asymmetric unit. In the

Special Solvation Behaviour of Salts in Ionic Liquid

open access: yes, 2012
In a previous study1 from the Welton Group, the reactivity resulting from mixing two different and reactive salts together was observed to be highly dependent on the type of solvent, with molecular and ionic liquids exhibiting fundamentally different ...

Synthesis, structure and properties of N-alkoxy-N-(1-pyridinium)urea salts, N-alkoxy-N-acyloxyureas and N,N-dialkoxyureas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
N-Alkoxy-N-(1-pyridinium)urea salts 3, 4 have been prepared, the conversions of N-acetoxy-N-methoxyurea 7 into N,N-dimethoxyurea 8 and of N-n-propyloxy-N-(1-pyridinium)-N',N'-dimethylurea chloride 6 into N,N dimethoxy-N',N'-dimethylurea 11 were carried ...

Mechanochromic Organic Materials: Molecular Mechanisms and Multidimensional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 2, February 2026.
Mechanochromic (MC) organic materials change color in response to mechanical force. This review elucidates the molecular mechanisms (e.g., aggregation‐induced emission, AIE) and explores their multidimensional applications in sensors, anti‐counterfeiting, biomedical devices, and structural health monitoring, providing a roadmap for future smart ...

Crystal structure of 2-amino-5-nitropyridinium sulfamate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2015
The title molecular salt, C5H6N3O2+ ·H2NO3S−, was obtained from the reaction of sulfamic acid with 2-amino-5-nitropyridine. A proton transfer from sulfamic acid to the pyridine N atom occurred, resulting in the formation of a salt.

New Compounds From the Deep‐sea Sponge Mycale lingua

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 2, February 2026.
The focus of this study is the scarcely investigated sponge Mycale lingua, found commonly in the North Atlantic Ocean. In total, four compounds are isolated and characterised from three combined M. lingua individuals. Structures are fully elucidated through HR‐LCMS and NMR spectroscopy (1H, COSY, HSQC, HMBC).

Symmetric Vs Asymmetric Imide Anion Decomposition Pathways And Their Influence On Solid Electrolyte Interphase Stability For Si Anodes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 4, 22 January 2026.
Symmetric bis(flourosulfonyl)imide anions in imidazolium‐based ionic liquids direct the formation of a conformal SEI on 3D a‐Si architecture, featuring an ionorganic‐rich (LiF/LiOH) inner and Li2SO4/polymeric outer layer. This anion‐derived, mechanically robust SEI suppresses pulverization and delivers a high reversible capacity of 2489 mAh g−1 at 1C ...

Crystal structure and thermal behaviour of pyridinium styphnate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2015
In the crystal structure of the title molecular salt, C5H6N+·C6H2N3O8− (systematic name: pyridinium 3-hydroxy-2,4,6-trinitrophenolate), the pyridinium cation and the 3-hydroxy-2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion are linked through bifurcated N—H...(O,O ...

Enhanced CO2 Electroreduction Through Electrostatic Functionalization of Iron Porphyrin

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 3, 12 February 2026.
This study introduces an iron porphyrin catalyst for CO2 reduction, featuring an ortho‐positioned imidazolium group designed to probe electrostatic effects. The catalyst exhibits a 100‐fold increase in activity over its unsubstituted counterpart at similar potentials.
