Discovery of a Potent Fluorescence Polarization Probe for Identifying USP1 Allosteric Inhibitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents the first ubiquitin‐specific protease 1 (USP1) allosteric fluoroprobe and fluorescence polarization assay, enabling the differentiation of allosteric and catalytic site inhibitors. Further, a novel class of tetrahydroisoquinoline‐based USP1 inhibitors is designed, with compound 14a (USP1 IC50 = 29.9 nM) showing strong selectivity ...

Synthesis and Antioxidant Activities of Novel Pyrimidine Acrylamides as Inhibitors of Lipoxygenase: Molecular Modeling and In Silico Physicochemical Studies

open access: yesMolecules
The pyrimidine ring is present in various biomolecules such as DNA and RNA bases, aminoacids, vitamins, etc. Additionally, many clinically used drugs including methotrexate and risperidone contain the pyrimidine heterocyclic scaffold as well.

Catalytic Synthesis of Luminescent Pyrimidines via Acceptor-less Dehydrogenative Coupling

open access: yes, 2021
A simple catalytic synthesis of luminescent pyrimidines from benzamidines and alcohols is reported. These one-pot, acceptor-less dehydrogenative coupling reactions are catalyzed by a ruthenium hydrido chloride complex (1), supported by a chelating P^N ...

Localizable Fluorescent Metal Ion Indicators With Tunable Colors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A modular platform enables the generation of fluorescent metal ion indicators with tunable emission colors and precise subcellular localization. Conjugation to self‐labeling proteins yields bright, color‐tunable potassium probes that permit wash‐free live‐cell imaging, revealing dynamic potassium efflux in stimulated neurons.

Pyrimidines- and purines-rich sequences of miRNAs.

open access: yes, 2016
The table shows the content of the pyrimidines or purines nucleotides according to the sequence of miRNAs. The total contents of purines or pyrimidines of the miRNAs presented in the table is above 90%.

Light‐Switched Mesenchymal Stem Cells for In Situ Exosome Amplification in Craniofacial Bone Defect Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light‐switchable MSCs (MSC‐UCNPs) were constructed by intracellular incorporation of UCNPs. Upon 980 nm irradiation, UCNPs emitted localized ultraviolet light (365 nm), activating the ROS/HEXB/LAMP1 signaling pathway to suppress lysosome–multivesicular body fusion and thereby enhance exosome biogenesis. Embedded within an injectable hydrogel, MSC‐UCNPs

Coordination‐Driven Direct C─H Metalation of N‐Heterocycles With a Superbasic Co(II) Amide Co(TMP)2

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
By enabling regioselectivities that are inaccessible with conventional bases, this study introduces a Co(II) amide platform for the deprotonative C─H metalation of sensitive N‐heterocycles. Subsequent interception of the resulting Co(II) intermediates with external oxidants affords a family of sterically congested, TMP‐substituted heterocycles via C─N ...

Palladium-Catalyzed Intramolecular Cross-Dehydrogenative Coupling: Synthesis of Fused Imidazo[1,2‑a]pyrimidines and Pyrazolo[1,5‑a]pyrimidines

open access: yes, 2017
A palladium-catalyzed intramolecular dehydrogenative coupling reaction was developed for the synthesis of fused imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidines and pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines.
