Schematic diagram depicting the proposed signaling mechanisms underlying the effects of FBXL4 in the setting of cardiac hypertrophy. Under hypertrophic stimulation, cardiomyocytes‐specific overexpression FBXL4 maintains sarcomere integrity and cardiac function by enhancing K48‐linked ubiquitinated degradation of PFN1 at the K70 site.

Sensing of Pyrophosphate Metabolites by Vγ9Vδ2 T Cells
The predominant population of γδ T cells in human blood express a T cell receptor (TCR) composed of a Vγ9 (Vγ2 in an alternate nomenclature) and Vδ2 domains. These cells came into the limelight when it was discovered they can respond to certain microbial

Universal Solvent Escape Strategies for Efficient Curing of Hydrogen‐Bond‐Rich 3D Printing Inks
This study developed a new 3D printing method for hydrogen‐bonded polymers by combining solvent replacement, nanoparticles, and optimized printing paths. This allows fast, precise scaffold fabrication. The scaffolds can be easily customized and release therapeutic agents slowly through protonation, enabling personalized bone, blood vessel, and nerve ...

Sensor Function for Butyrophilin 3A1 in Prenyl Pyrophosphate Stimulation of Human Vγ2Vδ2 T Cells
Vγ2Vδ2 T cells play important roles in human immunity to pathogens and in cancer immunotherapy by responding to isoprenoid metabolites, such as (E)-4-hydroxy-3-methyl-but-2-enyl pyrophosphate and isopentenyl pyrophosphate.

Rapid metabolic pathway assembly and modification using serine integrase site-specific recombination [PDF]
Synthetic biology requires effective methods to assemble DNA parts into devices and to modify these devices once made. Here we demonstrate a convenient rapid procedure for DNA fragment assembly using site-specific recombination by ϕC31 integrase.

This study reveals that dietary stachyose enriches Butyricimonas virosa, effectively attenuating metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Mechanistically, B. virosa enhances gut thiamine monophosphate synthesis, which elevates hepatic thiamine pyrophosphate levels.
