We investigate the exclusive semileptonic and rare D⟶π(K) decays within the standard model together with the light‐front quark model (LFQM) constrained by the variational principle for the QCD‐motivated effective Hamiltonian. The form factors are obtained in the q+ = 0 frame and then analytically continue to the physical timelike region.

Nuclear p ⊥-broadening of an energetic parton pair
We revisit the transverse momentum broadening of a fast parton pair crossing a nuclear medium, putting emphasis on the pair global color state, for any number of colors N and within the eikonal limit for parton propagation and the Gaussian approximation ...

Some short-distance properties of the fourth-rank hadronic vacuum polarization tensor are re-examined. Their consequences are critically discussed in the context of the hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of ...

ZZ production at nNNLO+PS with MiNNLOPS
We consider ZZ production in hadronic collisions and present state-of-the-art predictions in QCD perturbation theory matched to parton showers. Next-to-next-to-leading order corrections to the quark-initiated channel are combined with parton showers ...

We discuss deep learning inference for the neutron star equation of state (EoS) using the real observational data of the mass and the radius. We make a quantitative comparison between the conventional polynomial regression and the neural network approach

Randomness on the Lattice [PDF]
In this lecture we review recent lattice QCD studies of the statistical properties of the eigenvalues of the QCD Dirac operator. We find that the fluctuations of the smallest Dirac eigenvalues are described by chiral Random Matrix Theories with the ...

QCD phenomenology of static sources and gluonic excitations at short distances [PDF]
New lattice data for the ${\ensuremath{\Pi}}_{u}$ and ${\ensuremath{\Sigma}}_{u}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ potentials at short distances are presented. We compare perturbation theory to the lower static hybrid potentials and find good agreement at short ...

Some remarks on anthropic approaches to the strong CP problem
The peculiar value of θ is a challenge to the notion of an anthropic landscape. We briefly review the possibility that a suitable axion might arise from an anthropic requirement of dark matter.

Bottom-quark production at hadron colliders: fully differential predictions in NNLO QCD
We report on the first fully differential calculation of the next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) QCD radiative corrections to the production of bottom-quark pairs at hadron colliders.
