QCD preheating: New frontier of baryogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.D.108.023512, 2023, 2022
We find that QCD can create the cosmological matter abundance via out-of-equilibrium processes during the QCD phase transition, that is what we call the QCD preheating, where the dynamic transition of the QCD vacuum characterized by the quark condensate takes place instantaneously. This mechanism works when the Universe undergoes subsequent supercooled

Current‐Component Independent Transition Form Factors for Semileptonic and Rare D⟶π(K) Decays in the Light‐Front Quark Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
We investigate the exclusive semileptonic and rare D⟶π(K) decays within the standard model together with the light‐front quark model (LFQM) constrained by the variational principle for the QCD‐motivated effective Hamiltonian. The form factors are obtained in the q+ = 0 frame and then analytically continue to the physical timelike region.

Phenomenology of Λb → Λcτν¯τ using lattice QCD calculations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A bstractIn a recent paper we studied the effect of new-physics operators with different Lorentz structures on the semileptonic Λb→Λcτν¯τ$$ {\Lambda}_b\to {\Lambda}_c\tau {\overline{\nu}}_{\tau } $$ decay. This decay is of interest in light of the R(D(*))

QCD aspects of exclusive B meson decays [PDF]

open access: yesProg.Part.Nucl.Phys.51:85-171,2003, 2003
I review recent progress on understanding QCD dynamics involved in exclusive $B$ meson decays. Different frameworks, including light-cone sum rules, QCD factorization, perturbative QCD, soft-collinear effective theory, light-front QCD, are discussed. Results from lattice QCD are quoted for comparison.

Isotensor Axial Polarizability and Lattice QCD Input for Nuclear Double-β Decay Phenomenology. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2017
The potential importance of short-distance nuclear effects in double-β decay is assessed using a lattice QCD calculation of the nn→pp transition and effective field theory methods.

B →P and B →V form factors from B-meson light-cone sum rules beyond leading twist

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We provide results for the full set of form factors describing semileptonic B-meson transitions to pseudoscalar mesons π, K, D ¯ $$ \overline{D} $$ and vector mesons ρ, K ∗, D ¯ ∗ $$ {\overline{D}}^{\ast } $$ .

Analytic integration of soft and collinear radiation in factorised QCD cross sections at NNLO

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Within the framework of local analytic sector subtraction, we present the full analytic integration of double-real and real-virtual local infrared counterterms that enter NNLO QCD computations with any number of massless final-state partons. We show that

SMEFT atlas of ∆F = 2 transitions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We present a model-independent anatomy of the ∆F = 2 transitions K 0 − K ¯ 0 $$ {\overline{K}}^0 $$ , B s,d − B ¯ s , d $$ {\overline{B}}_{s,d} $$ and D 0 − D ¯ 0 $$ {\overline{D}}^0 $$ in the context of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT).

CP violation in η muonic decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
In this study, we investigate the imprints of CP violation in certain η muonic decays that could arise within the Standard Model effective field theory.
