Chromosomal mutations that accompany qnr in clinical isolates of Escherichia coli
We examined 13 qnr-positive and 14 qnr-negative clinical isolates of Escherichia coli for mutations previously seen in a qnr-containing laboratory strain exposed to supra minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of ciprofloxacin. Among the qnr-positive strains, those with ciprofloxacin MICs of ≥ 2 µg/mL had at least one mutation in gyrA.

Whole‐genome sequencing of multidrug‐resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae from a neonatal ward environment in Chlef revealed persistent resistance genes and the clonal spread of high‐risk ST13. These findings highlight the hospital environment as a potential reservoir for transmission of resistant K. pneumoniae.

This review explores how quantum activation functions can contribute to the evolution of neural networks toward quantum computing. The results show that classical‐quantum hybrid architectures are being tested in some practical applications, while fully quantum models are still in the development phase. These functions represent an important step toward

Detection of the First QnrS Gene Positivity in Aquatic Aeromonas spp. Isolates in Turkey
Aeromonas spp. are oxidase positive, gram-negative, facultative anaerobic bacilli that are widely distributed in aquatic environments. A.hydrophila, A.sobria and A.bestiarum may cause severe infections in both human and cold-blooded animals ...
