Net form net blotch (NFNB) caused by Pyrenophora teres f. sp. teres (Ptt) is an emerging barley disease in several countries. It causes severe yield and quality losses due to infection of leaves, kernels, and stems.

Larval antibiosis to cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) is absent within oilseed rape (Brassica napus)

We screened a panel of 98 Brassicaceae genotypes (97 Brassica napus and 1 Sinapis alba) for cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) larval antibiosis. We found limited evidence for antibiosis across B. napus but consistent antibiosis in S. alba. Brassicaceae relatives may therefore better inform resistance traits for breeding.

Cryptanalysis of QTL Block Cipher

QTL is an ultra-lightweight block cipher designed for extremely constrained devices. The cipher has two versions, QLT-64 and QTL-128 supporting key lengths of 64 and 128 bits, respectively. In this paper, we present the first third party cryptanalysis of QTL. We first introduce related key distinguishers for full versions of the cipher.
