Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint

Distortion in Electrodynamic Loudspeakers Caused by Force Factor Variations
The non linearities in the motor of an electrodynamic loudspeaker are still a discussed topic. This paper studies the influence of the force factor variation with the coil displacement on the harmonic and inter-modulation distortions.

Nonreciprocal Swarmalators With Reconfigurable and Controllable Formations for Robot Collectives
Nonreciprocal swarmalator interactions are enabled through control barrier functions to transform self‐organizing robot collectives into reconfigurable, constraint‐aware systems. Complex two‐ and three‐dimensional shapes, continuous morphing, obstacle‐aware navigation, collective splitting, and object transport emerge from modulating agent‐level ...

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

A cosmological reconstruction of the Higgs vacuum expectation value
We present a simple toy model of cosmic acceleration driven purely by a self-interacting scalar field embedded in theory of grand unification. The scalar self-interaction is Higgs-like and provokes a spontaneous symmetry breaking.
