Search-ability A Domain Quality Factor for Web Software Applications
As organizations become aware of the strategic importance of e-commerce they will also become aware of the need of quality Web sites. In early years the World Wide Web was originally designed to present information to Web surfers using simple sites that ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Evaluation of a microdosimeter designed for measurement of neutron lineal energy distribution and determination of its quality factor [PDF]
Energy response of common neutron dosimeters has a significant deviation. Our goal is to construct an ambient neutron dosimeter as an array of microdosimeters whose response has less dependency on neutron energy.

Quality Factor to classify Earthquake Locations
In order to define the quality of a seismic location, we investigate a suite of ‘classical’ uncertainty estimators, i.e., the root mean square, the number of phases, the azimuthal gap, the errors on the hypocentral coordinates.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Factor Price Equalization in the UK? [PDF]
This paper develops a general test of factor price equalization that is robust to unobserved regional productivity differences, unobserved region-industry factor quality differences and variation in production technology across industries.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

New Evidence on Product Quality and Trade [PDF]
This paper examines why different countries export different qualities of products.Previous studies have attributed quality dispersion to differences in factor endowments while no empirical work has been done examining the effect of technology on quality.
