Densitometric evaluation at quantitative microradiography
Histochemie, 1969The different factors influencing the accuracy of quantitative microradiography have been investigated. The evaluation of densitometric measurements for dry mass determinations has been improved considerably by the introduction of polynomial regression analysis of the output signals for the reference system.

Quantitative evaluation of Alzheimer’s disease
Expert Review of Medical Devices, 2009Alzheimer's disease (AD) can be definitively diagnosed only by histopathologic examination of brain tissue; the identification and differential diagnosis of AD is especially challenging in its early stages. Neuroimaging is playing an increasingly relevant role in the identification and quantification of AD in vivo, especially in the preclinical stages,

Quantitative Evaluation of Recurrent Meningiomas
Pathology - Research and Practice, 1989Clinical, histological and karyometric parameters, nuclear DNA content and the number of nucleolar organizer regions were investigated in 9 recurrent meningiomas and 10 meningiomas which had not recurred within a 10-year period. There were no significant differences between the two groups as to age, sex, site of the tumours and most of the histological

Quantitative evaluation of antihistaminic effects
Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, 1960Abstract Antihistamines delay the time of the development of the dextran-induced edema in rats. The kinetics of edema formation are influenced characteristically by the drugs, thus permitting the quantitative evaluation of their antiinflammatory effect.

QUANTITATIVE EVALUATION OF CHEST PAIN
Acta Medica Scandinavica, 1981ABSTRACT.The perception of pain in three groups of patients with angina pectoris has been studied. All patients went through a bicycle ergometer test with an increase of 10 watt each minute. Heart rates and ratings of pain were collected towards the end of each work load. Reliable results of diagnostic interest were obtained.

Quantitative evaluation of dermatological antiseptics
Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, 2015Topical antiseptics are frequently used in dermatological management, yet evidence for the efficacy of traditional generic formulations is often largely anecdotal. We tested the in vitro bactericidal activity of four commonly used topical antiseptics against Staphylococcus aureus, using a modified version of the European Standard EN 1276, a ...

Quantitative Evaluation of DNA Fragmentation
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2002A new method for evaluation of DNA fragmentation in tissue is based on computer-aided densitometric standardization of the sum of optical densities of DNA fragments visualized by electrophoresis (180-2500 b. p.) in comparison with the density of high molecular weight DNA in the same sample.

Quantitative Evaluation of Fine‐Needle Aspiration
Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 1996A protocol was developed to obtain mature lymphocytes from freshly harvested tonsils by a combination of 5‐, 10‐, and 20‐ cm3 syringes and 21‐, 23‐, and 27‐gauge needles. The cells were then suspended in Earle's balanced salt solution and counted with an automated cell counter.

Quantitative Evaluation Methods
2018This chapter concentrates on quantitative evaluation methods—both classical and AI based. At the beginning, the author offers some advice on ways of choosing primary and secondary data to be used in quantitative evaluation. Errors and imperfections in data collection can ultimately distort the quantitative evaluation’s final results.
