Rapid Analysis of Feldspar by X-ray Diffractometry Rietveld Refinement Method

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2017
The content of minerals in feldspar can be calculated by chemical analytical results, but the analytical process is long and the calculation process is complex.

Dynamic Model and Phase Transitions for Liquid Helium

open access: yes, 2008
This article presents a phenomenological dynamic phase transition theory -- modeling and analysis -- for superfluids. As we know, although the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau model has been successfully used in superconductivity, and the classical ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Phase transformations of aged patina formed on weathering steel bridge girders

open access: yesResults in Engineering
Weathering steel relies on the formation of a stable patina to resist atmospheric corrosion. While the protective layer performs well under normal exposure conditions, its effectiveness diminishes in environments with elevated moisture or in the presence

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Single to multiple digital holograms for phase compensation and defect detection

open access: yesFrontiers in Photonics
Digital holography enables quantitative phase imaging based on interference. A digital hologram often encodes the phase information along with aberrations or deformations.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Phase synchronization of instrumental music signals

open access: yes, 2014
Signal analysis is one of the finest scientific techniques in communication theory. Some quantitative and qualitative measures describe the pattern of a music signal, vary from one to another.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
